The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg transposed Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law through the Law of May 16, 2023, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 (hereinafter the "Law").This law came into force on May 21, 2023.
The Law establishes reporting channels allowing whistleblowers who have obtained information in a professional context to report actual or potential violations of Luxembourg law or European Union law. It provides for a prohibition of all forms of retaliation against whistleblowers acting in good faith.
In this context, iBanFirst makes this procedure available to persons who may make a report, in accordance with the legal requirements applicable in Luxembourg.
